The Hawk V‑Lite16 Vintage’74s are small, lightweight T1.9 lenses with reduced contrast, enhanced flares, gentle aberrations and pleasant skin tones associated with the classic anamorphic glass of the 1970s era. The Hawk V‑Lite16 Vintage’74 1.3x anamorphic squeeze lenses incorporate a precision Iris Shaping System that delivers classic 2x anamorphic bokeh. The Vintage’74 coating technology provides authentic period signature, combined with modern, reliable mechanics and contemporary optics.
Like the regular Hawk V‑Lite16s, they offer excellent T-stop range and the shallow depth of field characteristic of ‘Scope cinematography.
The new set consists of five focal lengths: 14, 18, 24, 28 and 35mm, all T1.9.
