Vantage Film announces the upcoming introduction of a set of five truly new anamorphic zoom lenses.
The innovatively designed compact zooms will provide outstanding imaging performance while maintaining the much admired true anamorphic characteristics. All five zooms use a classical front anamorphic design to create the expressive Bokeh effect. At the same time, they manage to be extremely compact and have very short minimum focus distance values.
The first zoom lens, the Hawk V‑Plus 45‑90mm T2.8 ‑ cfd 2 ½ ft. will be available in the course of 2011. By the end of the year, two more zooms will be ready to enter the market. A few months later number four and five are planned to round off the range.
Like all other Hawk lenses, the five new zooms are manufactured 100 percent in Germany. They are matched to the existing Hawk V‑Lite and V‑Plus primes. Taken as a whole, the newly expanded range amounts to the most comprehensive anamorphic lens system worldwide.
