Le Deuxième Acte by Quentin Dupieux will open this year’s Cannes Film Festival
Director Quentin Dupieux calls Hawk65 large format anamorphic glass and Sony Venice cameras a “dream combo.” Dupieux used Hawk65 Vintage‘74 lenses to photograph his feature film Le Deuxième Acte (The Second Act), which will open the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival on May 14. The film is a quirky comedy in which one character tries to shift the attention of an ardent admirer to his friend. The festival hails Dupieux, who wrote, shot and directed, as a “daring and unpredictable artist.”
