Lifetime parts inventory led to new lenses
Hawk has manufactured entirely new lens sets in their venerable C‑Series line. Hawk C‑Series 2x Anamorphics, the very first line of lenses produced by Hawk, debuted more than three decades ago on Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, and have been in steady demand ever since – a clear indication of their qualities.
The company’s philosophy mandates complete support for all Hawk lenses, meaning that every spare part for every Hawk lens is dependably in stock – a reassuring policy for owners Hawks. This ample inventory made the new C‑Series sets possible, ending a 13-year break in manufacturing the Cs.
At Hawk, tradition matters. The new C‑Series Anamorphics have been built to the exact specifications of the original lenses, aside from a newer serial numbering system now applied to all Hawk and Vantage lenses. Like the original C‑Series, the new set consists of four focal lengths - 40 mm, 50 mm, 75 mm, and 100 mm.
With timeless beauty and simplicity, Hawk C‑Series lenses deliver anamorphic imagery with a natural, organic feel.
