Precision Manufacturing

...to meet customer demand for new Hawk V-Lite Anamorphics

Vantage Film's hot new Hawk V‑Lite lenses promise to electrify the film market. With their light weight, unique squeezing factor 1.3x and maximum light-transmission they are quickly becoming a favorite for feature films and commercials alike.

So, while our rental houses in Weiden, Prague and Berlin hold in store lots of sets of the highly coveted lenses, they clamor for more to meet the booming demand. As a consequence, we decided to pull out all the stops and to manufacture twice as many Hawk V‑Lites as originally planned for 2010.

This extraordinary effort demands extraordinary measures. Not only have we work our employees overtime. To make the additional lenses available as soon as possible we even persuaded them to work right through the festive season this year, with the exception of the actual holidays.

There is some intricate precision work in store for them: Among other things they will mount hundreds of very expensive cylindrical elements, calibrate each lens by hand and invest about 8 hours in the final assembly of each and every optic.

You see, it's important for us to speedily meet our customers' demands. Yet, Hawk manufacturing takes time. The days between Christmas and Three Kings Day offer the peace and quiet to get production off to a good start and give our lenses what you expect of them: the quality that goes with ultra-high precision and care.

Hawk V‑Lite Anamorphics. Perfectly Hawk.
