New Vantage products set the benchmark for the business
The stand of Vantage Film was the central pivot of the Cinec 2002, the 4th International Trade Fair for Motion Picture Technology, Postproduction and Event Engineering in Munich (September 21st to 23rd, 2002).
With its floor space of 180 square meters and its inviting design the stand was heavily frequented all three days. Vantage's latest product developments and generous catering stimulated the atmosphere and attracted lots of international visitors. Hands-on demonstrations of Vantage Film's technology innovations and rental equipment generated broad interest in the available products and services.
Cinec Award 2002 for PSU-1
A special highlight was the bestowal of the Cinec Award 2002, awarded by the Bavarian Society for Advancement of Film Technology, to Vantage Film for its PSU-1 HDVR combo in the category camera technology. The PSU-1 (pre-screen unit) offers finest motion picture technology and combines state-of-the-art electronics and highly usable software components for video-assist, motion-tracking and editing support at the set.
The prize was presented by jury member and cinematographer Jost Vacano and handed over by State Minister Erwin Huber during a ceremony held in the Munich Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK).
For Vantage Film the Cinec Award 2002 underscores the company's continuous striving for excellence in product design. This year's prize is the second Cinec Award that went to Vantage Film. At the last Cinec trade fair in the year 2000 Vantage Film already received a Cinec Award for its Hawk anamorphic lenses.
