The Hawk 150-450mm/T2.8 Telephoto Zoom Lens became a regular item on today's camera lists. Designed from scratch for cinematography it is an ideal lens for motion picture use.
The new Hawk 0.7x Reducer converts this lens into a 100-300mm/T2.2 zoom lens. It fits directly into the PL-Mount of the Hawk zoom and can be attached within seconds. Due to its exclusive design it reduces the original focal length of the lens by 0.7x. At the same time it gives about one more stop concentrating the light on the film negative.
While reducing the image size it is reducing the lens-aberrations as well. Therefore the lens with attached reducer performs even better compared to the original zoom lens which is already an exceptional good lens.
Since decades there were only 1.4x or 2x Extenders available to go with your lens.
